| About The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved Pradhan Mantri Kisan Pension Yojana, a new Central Sector Scheme (CSS), to provide pension cover to farmers. Under the scheme, which was announced in the budget for 2019-20, a monthly pension of Rs 3,000 will be provided to small and marginal farmers in the age group of 18-40 years on attaining the age of 60. |
